1. According to the fixed method
According to different fixing methods, seat belts can be divided into three types: two-point, three-point, and four-point.
(1) Two-point safety belt. A two-point seat belt is a seat belt that has only two fixed points with the vehicle body or seat. This kind of safety belt can be divided into waist belt (or knee belt) type and household belt type. Waist belt is the most widely used form. It cannot protect the upper body of the human body, but it can effectively prevent passengers from being thrown out of the car. The shoulder strap type is also called the diagonal hanging type, which is popular in Europe, but it is not adopted in the United States, Japan, Australia and other countries.
The soft belt of the two-point safety belt is hung from both sides of the waist to the abdomen, and is shaped like a waist belt. It can prevent the occupant from moving forward or throwing out of the car in a collision accident. The advantage is that it is convenient to use and easy to release. The disadvantage is that the upper body of the occupant is prone to leaning forward, and the head of the front seat occupant hits the dashboard or windshield glass. This kind of seat belt is mainly used on the rear seat of a car.
(2) Three-point safety belt. The three-point seat belt is based on the two-point seat belt with a shoulder belt. There is a fixed point on the body near the waist, which can prevent the occupant's body from moving forward and the upper body from leaning forward at the same time, which enhances the safety of the occupant. It is currently the most commonly used seat belt.
As shown in the picture, it is composed of a waist belt and a waist belt. According to the different ways of waist belt and shoulder strap, it can be divided into A type and B type.
A-type three-point safety belt-a detachable three-point safety belt, one end is inserted into the same body with the belt buckle and bolt, and the other end is fixed on the body near the shoulder, which becomes the safety of 3 fixed points belt.
Type B three-point safety belt-continuous three-point safety belt. The main feature of Ann is that the waist belt shoulder strap is a continuous webbing. The tongue of the buckle is sleeved on the webbing and can slide along the webbing. There is a length adjuster near the fixed point of the shoulder, so it is more convenient to use than the A-type belt.
(3) Four-point safety belt. It is a form formed by connecting two shoulder belts to a two-point seat belt and is generally used in racing cars.
