2012 Jetta Seat Belt
1. Three steps of Jetta seat belt installation:
Belt installation: The two fixing points of the belt should be high on the body floor, seat frame or body side wall.
Shoulder strap installation: the distance from the shoulder strap fixing point to the seat centerline shall not be less than 140mm.
Attachment installation: It is generally required that the lateral distance between the two lower installation accessories of the two-point and three-point seat belts is 350mm, and the distance between the two installation accessories and the center line of the seat should be equal.
2012 Jetta Seat Belt cannot be installed on seats without head restraints or on seats with non-adjustable head restraints (no gap between the seat back and the head restraint). If the shoulder straps form a cross fixation behind the seat, the shoulder straps must pass on both sides of the headrest upright. Conversely, if the shoulder straps do not form a cross behind the seat, the shoulder straps must pass between the two uprights of the headrest.
